According to a quick count which is released by LSI (Lingkaran Survei Indonesia) through their “Lingkaran Survei Kebijakan Publik” network of Samarinda’s 2010 Mayor Election. The couple number 2 Syaharie Jaang-Nusyirwan Ismail will be inaugurated as Mayor and Vice Mayor of Samarinda 2010 – 2015. According to LSI, Syaharie-Nusyirwan acquire 46,59 %, it means Samarinda’s Election will be held a round only. The second place is Ipong-Edi by 24,55%, third place is Andi Harun-Damanhuri by 19,30%. The other candidates from independent are collecting under 5%. “Error sampling less than 1%.” Said the Director of LSKP, Sunarto Ciptoharjono, Tuesday afternoon. “This Quick Count is not official result, it is only the answer of people’s desire to know about the vote result.” He continued.
The decision of the winner LSI version had been taken by a survey on 296 from 1.445 voting place by using Multi Stage Random Sampling method.
